Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 May 2026

Bible in the Alphabet is an educational app. We do not collect, sell, or use your personal information for any commercial or marketing purpose. Your privacy is important to us.

1. Who We Are

Bible in the Alphabet is a mobile quiz application developed to help children, youths, and adults deepen their knowledge of the Bible. The app is published by Benedicta Anate and available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at: hello@bibleinthealphabet.com

2. Our Commitment to Your Privacy

We built Bible in the Alphabet for one purpose: to make learning the Bible enjoyable for all ages. We are not in the business of collecting or monetising personal data. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the app:

  • Game progress data — Your quiz answers, streaks, clue count, and level completion are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your phone unless you explicitly back it up through your device's own cloud service (e.g. iCloud or Google Drive).
  • App settings — Preferences such as sound, haptics, and timer settings are stored locally on your device.
  • Purchase information — If you purchase the Pro upgrade, payment is processed by Google Play or Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat (a third-party service) solely to verify and manage your purchase entitlement. RevenueCat may collect a device identifier for this purpose — see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

We do not collect:

  • Your name, email address, or any contact information
  • Your location or GPS data
  • Photos, camera, or microphone data
  • Contact lists or social graph data
  • Behavioural or advertising identifiers

4. How We Use Information

The limited data described above is used exclusively to:

  • Save and restore your game progress on your device
  • Verify Pro upgrade purchases so you can access unlocked content
  • Maintain your in-app settings between sessions

We do not use any information to build profiles, serve advertisements, or conduct analytics beyond what is strictly necessary for the app to function.

5. Third-Party Services

The app integrates with the following third-party services for operational purposes only:

  • Google Play / Apple App Store — For app distribution and payment processing. Their respective privacy policies govern data collected during download and purchase.
  • RevenueCat — For purchase verification. RevenueCat receives a device identifier and purchase receipt to confirm your Pro entitlement. No personal profile is created by us through this service. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

We do not use any advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or social media trackers.

6. Children's Privacy

Bible in the Alphabet is designed to be safe for all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country). Because all game data is stored locally on the device and we do not require account registration, the app is inherently child-safe.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise their child's use of in-app purchases. The Pro upgrade is a one-time purchase that can be disabled via parental controls on the device.

7. Data Storage and Security

All game progress and settings are stored on your device using standard mobile secure storage. We do not operate our own servers that store your personal data. Because no personal data is transmitted to us, there is no risk of a data breach from our side.

8. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal profile for us to delete, correct, or export on your behalf. To remove all app data, simply delete the app from your device. Any purchase entitlement history remains with Google Play or Apple App Store under your account.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
