1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Bible in the Alphabet (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. For users under the age of 13, a parent or guardian must review and accept these terms on their behalf.

2. About the App

Bible in the Alphabet is an interactive Bible quiz application designed for educational purposes. The App presents questions based on the Holy Bible across multiple letters of the alphabet, covering a range of difficulty levels suitable for children, youths, and adults. The App is not affiliated with any specific church, denomination, or religious institution.

The App is published by Benedicta Anate and available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

3. Educational Purpose

The App is created purely for educational and recreational use. All Bible content within the App — including questions, hints, and answers — is presented in good faith to encourage engagement with scripture. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but:

• Bible interpretations may vary across translations and traditions.
• Questions are based on commonly accepted biblical text and are not intended to favour any particular denomination.
• The App should complement, not replace, personal Bible study or formal religious instruction.

4. Intellectual Property

All content within the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, illustrations, audio, and software code — is owned by or licensed to Benedicta Anate and is protected by copyright law.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App or its content.
• Use any content from the App for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

The Bible text referenced in the App is drawn from publicly available translations and remains the property of their respective rights holders.

5. Free and Pro Content

The App offers a free tier with access to letters A–C and selected mini-games. Additional letters (D onwards) and full mini-game access are available through the Pro upgrade, which is a one-time in-app purchase.

• Free tier — Access to letters A–C, limited clues, and selected content at no cost.
• Pro upgrade — A one-time purchase that unlocks all letters and mini-games. No recurring subscription fees.
• Clues — Free clues are awarded for correct answer streaks. Clues are non-transferable and have no monetary value.

All purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple App Store under their respective payment terms. We do not handle payment card data directly.

6. Refunds

Refund requests for in-app purchases are handled by the relevant app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact the app store where the purchase was made.

7. User Conduct

The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use. By using the App, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to manipulate, hack, or exploit any feature of the App.
• Use the App to harass, defame, or harm any person or group.
• Misrepresent the App's content or your results for deceptive purposes.

8. No Account Required

The App does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use it. All game progress is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your game data, and deleting the App will permanently erase your local progress.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• Any errors or defects in the App will be corrected.
• The App will be compatible with all devices or operating system versions.

Your use of the App is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Benedicta Anate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of progress, or loss of profits — arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Pro upgrade (if any).

11. Children's Use

The App is suitable for all ages and is designed with children in mind. However, the Pro upgrade is an in-app purchase. We recommend that parents and guardians enable parental controls on their child's device to prevent unauthorised purchases. We are not responsible for purchases made by minors without parental consent.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

The App or this website may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as the Google Play Store or Apple App Store). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.

13. Changes to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of the publisher's place of business.
